Mission Statement
Due to its excellent characteristics, polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) is a plastic  in our daily life.Our aim through various investigation and research programs is to support our customers in using PVDC (as raw materials) and PVDC products safely and to seek a harmonious existence with our global environment. Through this homepage, we introduce our activities and information about PVDC.

Purpose
This association, regarding raw materials and products of vinylidene chloride and polyvinylidene chloride, to ensure safety and sanitation and also to seek their harmonious existence with the environment.
Also,education between members, contribute to the healthy development of the industry, to conduct appropriate use and disseminate of polyvinylidene chloride products.

The activity contents

Establishment of and compliance to JHAVDC voluntary standard
In 1978, JHAVDC established the association's voluntary standards on food utensils, containers and packaging made from polyvinylidene chloride (first edition) by conforming to the "Standards on Food Additives and the Like" issued by the Ministry of Health and Welfare on the basis of the Food Sanitation Law. After several revisions, the eighth edition of the "JHAVDC voluntary standard" was issued in October 2009.

Since 1984, we have adopted a strict system of issuing a "confirmation certificate" for the products that has been verified to meet our voluntary standards.
